Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cardano?
Cardano is an open source blockchain platform and cryptocurrency project. It requires decentralized node servers to validate and secure the blockchain for all participants.

Where can I get a secure wallet?
Only use official wallets from the original websites to avoid security risks!
Daedalus is a full-node wallet only and no mobile version is available.

What is staking?
Ada holders have two ways of earning rewards, running a stake pool or delegating their stake to a pool run by an operator. Operators can be individuals or a business with knowledge and equipment to run the node on a consistent basis. Delegating a stake run by someone else allows Ada holders to participate in earning rewards without needing to operate a Cardano network node themselves.
"The more stake is delegated to a stake pool (up to a certain point), the more likely it is to make the next block – and the rewards are shared between everyone who delegated their stake to that stake pool." (Source: Cardano | Stake Pool Delegation)
Is there a risk in delegation?
Delegation never requires you to send your ADA. Your Ada remains within your complete control at all times and you are still allowed to transfer, spend, or move your staking delegation to another stake pool. There is only an opportunity risk of missing out on potential earnings, not your capital.
What is needed to become a stake pool holder?
If you hold Ada (₳) cryptocurrency, you can participate in this process and earn rewards by staking your Ada. You can delegate to our Ticker (RMARS) pool through the official Daedalus wallet on the delegation tab.
What is stake pool oversaturation?
In order to earn maximum rewards, it is suggested to avoid delegation to pools which are close to 100% saturation or which are oversaturated!
When will I receive my rewards?
Time in Cardano is divided into epochs. There is a new epoch every 432000 slots (5 days). Rewards are calculated after every epoch based on the funds.
How do I monitor my rewards?
Visit pooltool.io and enter the ticker name in the search. You can also download their app.
Why are my rewards so different for each epoch?
After each epoch, the pool receives a certain number of blocks for production. This number of blocks in different epoch can vary greatly.
